Organic Certification Cost Share Applications Due November 15

Only half of the nation’s qualifying organic operations take advantage of the USDA’s National Organic Certification Cost Share Program (NOCCSP). This government-funded program allows certified organic producers and handlers to receive assistance with costs related to organic certification, such as inspection fees, sales assessments, travel costs, and more.
Florida Organic Growers (FOG), in cooperation with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS), is pleased to administer the 2016-2017 National Organic Certification Cost Share Program in Florida.
Organic operations can receive reimbursement for up to 75% of their certification costs paid during October 1, 2016 through the new date of October 14, 2017, up to $750 per scope. To learn more about the program and how to apply, please click here or you may contact our Cost Share Coordinator at costshare@foginfo.org or by phone at 352-377-6345 ext. 116.
Applications are due in our office by November 15, 2017 and there is NO fee to apply for the program.
